Halbert ingests events from a local Frigate NVR installation — person detection, vehicle detection, pet detection — without streaming video to any cloud service. You get real-time awareness of what’s happening on your property through local processing only.

The Frigate routes query the local Frigate instance for camera configurations, recent events and review segments, event snapshots, and latest frames. A vision authorization gate controls which camera feeds the agent can access based on privacy configuration.

Limits and invariants

Video never leaves the local network. The vision authorization gate prevents the agent from accessing cameras in sensitive areas unless explicitly permitted.
