Halbert can inject helper functions and aliases into your shell configuration, making the agent accessible from any terminal session without opening the dashboard. This bridges the gap between the GUI workspace and the command line.

Shell integration modules generate configuration snippets for bash and zsh that register Halbert helper commands. These snippets are appended to the user’s shell RC files on opt-in.

Limits and invariants

Shell modifications require explicit user opt-in — Halbert never modifies shell configuration files without permission.
